Day Sixteen
How do you find shelter from the rain? What do you do when all the leaves have disappeared and no matter your effort, you still undoubtedly get wet?
Walking the streets of San Francisco, rain pouring, puddles forming and a chill in the air. All of that though is just adding to the sensations of the walk, the water on the skin, the smile beaming when I look down and see shoes splashing in the puddles. The rain is wet but my soul completely warm from holding her hand, seeing her smiling face, knowing that all is right in the world as we walk side by side. Hearing her laugh, splashing together and just enjoying the serenity that comes from being us. The storms may come and we may get drenched, but as long as I have her hand and we're side by side, there is no stopping us. NM
